Attaining a quiet mind is the main purpose and goal of this brilliant 5,000+ year old ancient yogic tradition from India.
By learning to do yoga with pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, and then practicing consistently (the key ingredient), you develop the ability to stay calm, centered, compassionate and focused in any difficult situation. Stress and tensions long held in your body, nervous system and mind start getting released, and your mind starts becoming quieter and quieter. And then, almost magically, you start getting a broader and more balanced sense of who you really are deep down – That’s REALITY rushing in.
